- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ricotta cheese - 250 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until sauce thickens.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.

- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta, meat sauce, and mozzarella. Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with remaining meat sauce and mozzarella.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
