  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, diced
  • Red onion - ¼, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form the lamb mixture into small patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  3. While the lamb is cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft.
