Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped mint, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the gluten-free buns by toasting them lightly in another pan or toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cooked lamb feta patty, slices of tomato, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with your choice of side.
