Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped mint, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the gluten-free buns by toasting them lightly in another pan or toaster.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cooked lamb feta patty, slices of tomato, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of side.
