- Ground lamb - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the lamb mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 2.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the lamb patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt with lemon juice in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Toast the burger buns in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on each bun, then topping with yogurt sauce, sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and lettuce leaves.
- Serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
