  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chives - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until the onion is caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add the cooked egg noodles and caramelized onions to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle chopped chives on top for garnish.
