  • Butter - 1 tablespoon, melted
  • Raisins - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pot, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a separate pot, boil the diced sweet potatoes until tender, about 10 minutes, then drain and mash them.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, cooked egg noodles, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, milk, salt, and melted butter. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the raisins gently into the mixture.
  6. Grease a small baking dish (approximately 20x20 cm) with butter, then pour the kugel mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
