Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Bell pepper, diced - 1 medium (about 150 grams)
  • Diced tomatoes (canned) - 400 grams
  • Beef broth - 250 ml
  • Taco seasoning - 2 tablespoons
  • Cream cheese - 60 grams
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 50 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cilantro, chopped - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced bell pepper, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the bell pepper softens.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
