- Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 250 grams
- Water - 1 liter
- Lemon - 1 (juiced)
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Horseradish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar-free ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a medium pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt and the juice of 1 lemon.
- Add the shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the pot and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix horseradish sauce, sugar-free ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika to create the cocktail sauce.
- Once the shrimp are cool, drain and pat them dry. Arrange them on a serving plate.
- Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side and garnish with fresh parsley.
