Ingredients

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 250 grams
  • Water - 1 liter
  • Lemon - 1 (juiced)
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Horseradish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar-free ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a medium pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt and the juice of 1 lemon.
  2. Add the shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the pot and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix horseradish sauce, sugar-free ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika to create the cocktail sauce.
  5. Once the shrimp are cool, drain and pat them dry. Arrange them on a serving plate.
  6. Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side and garnish with fresh parsley.
