- Asparagus (trimmed) - 200 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to become tender.
- Push the asparagus to one side of the skillet and add the shrimp to the other side.
- Season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, add the lemon juice and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet, stirring to combine everything.
