- Salmon fillets - 2 pieces (150g each)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter - 50g
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.
- Add 25g of butter to the skillet and let it melt, swirling it around to coat the pan.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are cooked through and opaque.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 25g of butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.
- Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon fillets before serving.
