- Pork shoulder - 500 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried rosemary - 1 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chicken broth - 250 milliliters
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, dried rosemary, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a spice rub.
- Rub the olive oil all over the pork shoulder, then coat it evenly with the spice mixture.
- Place the pork roast in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth around it.
- Cover the roast with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, remove the foil and continue to roast for an additional 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 70°C (160°F).
- Once cooked, let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
