- Pork chops - 2 pieces (200g each)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Heavy cream - 120ml
- Chicken broth - 60ml
- Parmesan cheese - 30g, grated
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
