- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce (no added sugar) - 200 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 12 meatballs, about 25 grams each.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the meatballs.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
