- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams (for tzatziki)
- Cucumber - 1/4, grated (for tzatziki)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (for tzatziki)
- Salt - a pinch (for tzatziki)
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced (for tzatziki)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 4-5 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the skillet and serve with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
