  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams (for tzatziki)
  • Cucumber - 1/4, grated (for tzatziki)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (for tzatziki)
  • Salt - a pinch (for tzatziki)
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced (for tzatziki)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 4-5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and minced garlic until smooth.
  5. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the skillet and serve with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
