Ingredients
- Eggs - 4 large
- Heavy cream - 120 ml
- Shredded cheddar cheese - 100 g
- Cooked bacon - 60 g, crumbled
- Spinach - 50 g, chopped
- Green bell pepper - 50 g, diced
- Onion - 30 g, diced
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion and green bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Stir in the crumbled bacon, sautéed vegetables, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
