Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts - 400 grams
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil - 15 ml
  • 1 medium onion - 150 grams, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic - 6 grams, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper - 150 grams, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper - 150 grams, sliced
  • 400 grams canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano - 2 grams
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil - 2 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  5. Brown the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Add sliced red and green bell peppers, canned diced tomatoes, oregano, and basil to the skillet.
