Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 400 grams
  • Mushrooms (sliced) - 200 grams
  • Heavy cream - 120 ml
  • Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken broth - 100 ml
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are browned and tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and dried thyme, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the dish, allowing it to melt before serving.
