Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Leeks - 150 grams, sliced
  • Heavy cream - 200 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced leeks to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  4. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add it to the skillet, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the chicken and leek mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
