- Chicken thighs - 400 grams
- Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the marinated chicken thighs skin-side down.
- Cook for 6-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown, then flip the chicken and reduce the heat to low.
- Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
