Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 400 grams
  • Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
  4. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the marinated chicken thighs skin-side down.
  5. Cook for 6-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown, then flip the chicken and reduce the heat to low.
  6. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
  7. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
