Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 300 grams
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - 100 grams
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese - 120 grams
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil - 15 ml
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced - 6 grams
  • 1 teaspoon paprika - 2 grams
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley - 15 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper, then add them to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  5. Once the chicken is browned, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each breast.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
