Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Swiss chard - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the Swiss chard to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until wilted.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, and mix until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
- If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.
