Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Swiss chard - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the Swiss chard to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until wilted.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, and mix until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.
