Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
  • Bell peppers (red and green) - 1 of each, sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce (optional) - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and season with black pepper and salt. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and add the sliced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until they begin to soften.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
