Ingredients

  • Ground Beef - 300 grams
  • Mushrooms (sliced) - 150 grams
  • Cream Cheese - 100 grams
  • Heavy Cream - 100 ml
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese - 100 grams
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Onion (chopped) - 1 small
  • Dried Thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the mushrooms are browned and have released their moisture, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Push the mushroom mixture to the side of the skillet and add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream cheese, heavy cream, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
