- 500g ground beef
- 300g green cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 100g cream cheese, softened
- 100g shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the cabbage is slightly wilted, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cream cheese until melted and well combined.
- Transfer the beef and cabbage mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
