Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 120 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Cream cheese - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and fully combined (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Add the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the melted cheese mixture. Mix well until a dough forms.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix it into the dough until fully incorporated.
  5. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape, making a hole in the center.
  6. Place the shaped bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
