- Pork shoulder - 200 grams, diced
- Beef chuck - 200 grams, diced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 medium, chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Carrots - 2 medium, chopped
- Celery - 2 stalks, chopped
- Potato - 1 medium, diced
- Corn - 1 cup, fresh or frozen
- Green beans - 1 cup, chopped
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Beef broth - 750 milliliters
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Bay leaves - 2
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, pork, and beef, and brown the meat for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent, around 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped carrots, celery, and potato, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Add the corn, green beans, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, bay leaves, and thyme to the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the bay leaves before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
