Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Jerk seasoning - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Sliced green onions - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and honey to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into tenders and add them to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the tenders for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
