- Diced tomatoes (canned) - 200 grams
- Chicken broth - 2 cups

Steps
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of chicken broth to a boil. Add the brown rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.

- Remove the bay leaf from the skillet and adjust seasoning if necessary.
