  • Idaho potatoes - 500 grams
  • Gluten-free cream of mushroom soup - 1 cup
  • Shredded cheddar cheese - 100 grams
  • Sour cream - 100 grams
  • Butter - 30 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and slice the Idaho potatoes into thin rounds of about 0.5 cm thickness.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, then spread half of the soup mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, soup mixture, and cheese.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  8. After 40 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
