Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the raw honey and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir gently until the mixture comes to a boil, then stop stirring and let it boil for 5-7 minutes until it reaches a light golden color.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract until fully combined. The mixture will bubble up.
