Ingredients
- Salmon fillets - 2 pieces (150g each)
- Honey - 4 tablespoons (60ml)
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
- Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade while cooking, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the salmon garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy your delicious honey glazed salmon.
