Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets - 2 pieces (150g each)
  • Honey - 4 tablespoons (60ml)
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
  5. Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade while cooking, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once done, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the salmon garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy your delicious honey glazed salmon.
