Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Honey - 4 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribs on both sides for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the seared ribs to a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours, until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover, and brush with extra marinade. Broil on high for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
