Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 500 grams
  • Honey - 4 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Place the pork ribs in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor).
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribs on both sides for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Transfer the seared ribs to a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours, until the ribs are tender.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven, uncover, and brush with extra marinade. Broil on high for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
