- Chicken thighs - 4 pieces (about 600g)
- Honey - 4 tablespoons (60ml)
- Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).
- In a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken thighs over and pour the remaining marinade over them. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
