Ingredients

  • Ground beef (or turkey) - 250 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • BBQ sauce - 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 small meatballs, about 3 cm in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey and BBQ sauce. Stir until well mixed and warmed through.
  6. Brush the honey BBQ sauce over the meatballs, reserving some sauce for later.
  7. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
  8. Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush with the reserved honey BBQ sauce before serving.
