- Ground beef (or turkey) - 250 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- BBQ sauce - 1/4 cup
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 12 small meatballs, about 3 cm in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey and BBQ sauce. Stir until well mixed and warmed through.
- Brush the honey BBQ sauce over the meatballs, reserving some sauce for later.
