Ingredients
- Chicken thighs - 400 grams
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- BBQ sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat and add olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess sauce to drip off, and place it on the hot grill.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is nicely charred.
- During the last few minutes of cooking, brush additional BBQ sauce over the chicken for extra flavor.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
