  • Fresh basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (3g)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Wash and trim the ends of the zucchini, then slice them lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick strips.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, chopped basil, chopped parsley, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the zucchini strips generously with the herb mixture on both sides.
