Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Asparagus - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breast in a baking dish and pour half of the herb mixture over it, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  4. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and add it to the same baking dish, drizzling the remaining herb mixture over the asparagus.
  5. Toss the asparagus lightly to coat and arrange everything in a single layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C or 165°F) and the asparagus is tender.
