- Water - 1 liter
- Carrots - 100 grams, diced
- Celery - 100 grams, diced
- Onion - 50 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 20 grams, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 5 grams, leaves only
- Fresh rosemary - 5 grams, chopped
- Bay leaf - 1 leaf
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the diced carrots, diced celery, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the vegetables simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme leaves, rosemary, bay leaf, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat, discard the bay leaf, and stir in the lemon juice.
