Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 4 pieces (about 500g)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish and add small dollops of butter on top of each piece.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden brown.
