- Sweet potatoes - 400 grams
- Milk (Halal) - 120 ml
- Brown sugar - 50 grams
- Butter (Halal) - 30 grams
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Pecans - 40 grams, chopped
- Rolled oats - 30 grams
- Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into chunks. Boil them in a pot of water for about 15 minutes or until tender.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and transfer them to a mixing bowl. Mash them with a potato masher or fork.
- Add milk, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and the egg to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well until fully combined and smooth.
