- Yukon Gold potatoes - 500 grams
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons

- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash and peel the Yukon Gold potatoes, then cut them into quarters.
- Place the potatoes in a pot, cover with water, and add a sprinkle of salt. Boil for 15 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Drain the potatoes and let them cool for a few minutes. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- On a baking sheet, arrange the potatoes and gently smash each one with the back of a fork or a potato masher until they are flattened but still intact.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the smashed potatoes.
- Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are baking, combine tahini, lemon juice, and water in a bowl. Stir until smooth to create the tahini sauce.
- Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle with tahini sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
