- Burger buns - 2, halved
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula and cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

- Once ready, spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the bottom half of each bun and garnish with fresh parsley.
