- Ground halal beef - 300 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
- Slider buns - 2 pieces
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Ketchup - to taste
- Mayonnaise - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground halal beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Place the patties on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties to melt.
- While the patties are baking, prepare the slider buns by toasting them lightly in a pan or oven.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the meat patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
