Ingredients

  • Ground halal beef - 300 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
  • Slider buns - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Ketchup - to taste
  • Mayonnaise - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground halal beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  4. Place the patties on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties to melt.
  6. While the patties are baking, prepare the slider buns by toasting them lightly in a pan or oven.
  7. Assemble the sliders by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the meat patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
