- Egg - 1 large
- Milk - 50ml
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon

- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sandwich bread (halal) - 4 slices
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Pickles - 4 slices
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and thyme. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the sandwich toppings: wash the lettuce, slice the tomato, and prepare the pickles.
- Once the meatloaf is done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Toast the sandwich bread lightly on both sides if desired.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing a slice of meatloaf on the bottom slice of bread, followed by lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Top with another slice of bread.
- Repeat for the second sandwich and serve immediately.
