Ingredients

  • Ground beef (Halal) - 250 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Milk - 60 ml
  • Parsley (fresh, chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, parsley, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined but do not overmix.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and brown sugar to create the glaze.
  6. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
