- Ground beef (Halal) - 250 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Egg - 1 large
- Milk - 60 ml
- Parsley (fresh, chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, parsley, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined but do not overmix.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and brown sugar to create the glaze.
- Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
