Ingredients

  • crab meat - 200 grams
  • breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • green onion (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • parsley (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • egg - 1 large
  • garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 3 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, green onion, parsley, egg, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Gently mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the crab cakes to the skillet.
