- chicken broth (halal) - 500 ml
- heavy cream - 100 ml
- bay leaf - 1
- thyme (dried) - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - to taste
- salt - to taste
- fresh parsley (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- Rinse the fresh clams under cold water to remove any grit and sand.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, celery, and carrot, and sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and thyme, stirring for another minute until fragrant.
