  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Whole wheat tortillas - 2 large
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Mixed greens - 1 cup
  • Cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Raita or yogurt sauce - 50 grams

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, minced garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and add it to the marinade. Mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 7-10 minutes, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, warm the whole wheat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing it into smaller pieces.
  6. To assemble the wrap, lay the warm tortilla flat and layer with mixed greens, sliced cucumber, diced tomato, red onion, and cooked chicken.
