- Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
- Green peas - 1/2 cup (75 grams)
- Onion - 1 small, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon, or to taste
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and diced chicken to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced carrot, bell pepper, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
