Ingredients

  • Halal chicken breast - 300 grams, diced
  • Cauliflower florets - 200 grams
  • Egg noodles - 150 grams
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrots - 1 medium, julienned
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add diced chicken to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in cauliflower florets, bell pepper, and carrots. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, chicken and vegetable mixture, soy sauce, beaten egg, and half of the green onions. Mix well.
  7. Transfer the noodle mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with remaining green onions, and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
